Music con Brio, Inc., a 501(c)(3), is committed to offering high quality music lessons at an affordable graduated tuition schedule to a diverse mix of Madison area students, forming an inclusive, supportive community to build students’ self-esteem and pride in their talents. Since 1992, Bach Dancing and Dynamite Society has been inviting world-class musicians to join in a three-week summer festival that puts the element of “play” back into chamber music, showing that chamber music concerts, often serious to the point of stuffiness, can be both serious and fun at the same time. Their artistic goal is to break down traditional barriers between audience and performers without compromising artistic standards of the highest order. Music con Brio’s 2019-20 Community Concert Series is supported by Dane Arts with additional funds from the Endres Manufacturing Company Foundation, The Evjue Foundation, Inc., charitable arm of The Capital Times, the Jerome W. Frautschi Foundation, and the Pleasant T. Rowland Foundation. Additional support comes from Emerson Elementary School, the Goodman Community Center, and Wisconsin Public Radio.
